The Sunday Gathering exists to bring hope and spiritual transformation.
We are more than our jobs, education, race, gender, etc. We are spiritual beings created and designed to live in relationship with God and with each other.
The Sunday Gathering is a satellite of North Bramalea United Church (NBUC). We share NBUC’s purpose to “… enable everyday people to grow in The Way of Jesus and to follow the living God out into the community.”
We are members of the community and volunteers and staff at The Journey. We are followers of Jesus Christ and committed to growing relationships.
Heartfelt Worship is thankfulness for God’s love for us. It is expressed through song, prayer, bible study, and gratitude.
Relevant Teaching is useful, real and every day. We all have “stuff” in our lives and we are looking for realistic answers. How does God’s love play out in our daily lives?
All of us function much better when we have strong relationships. The Sunday Gathering is a gathering of people who want to get to know God and each other.
There is no benefit of gathering together on a Sunday if it has no practical application. We live our lives 24/7. We believe that gathering together can have a deep impact in our lives.
We meet every Sunday morning at 10:30am for some refreshments and fellowship. The actual service begins at 11am. We try to end promptly at noon or 12:10pm. We won’t be offended if you have to leave promptly at noon!
The Sunday Gathering meets at The Journey Neighbourhood Centre, 9 Ardglen Drive, in Brampton. We are located in a strip mall just west of Kennedy and north of Clarence.
