What You Can Expect
If you arrive at 10:30am, until 11:00am you will be tempted to have more than a COFFEE. We like to hang around, chat, munch on great SNACKS and get to know each other. We start promptly at 11:00am with some contemporary worship songs, and sometimes a hymn. There’s some announcements followed by a short prayer time. Then the kids go downstairs for children’s church while the adults listen to the message. Some weeks the message is live and some weeks it is taped at North Bramalea United Church. Then we’ll discuss what we have heard. This is generally followed by more eating and more talking, then we go out the door and try and live out what we have learned and experienced at The Sunday Gathering.
What Not to Expect
- Don’t expect a big crowd. We are a growing community fellowship in a neighbourhood centre.
- Don’t expect it to be loud. We are pretty calm people with a small PA and an acoustic guitar.
- Don’t expect it to be formal. We are casual, though if you arrived in a suit, we wouldn’t kick you out.
- Don’t expect it to be élite. Our language is simple, our prayers sincere and our teaching practical.
